Tor Browser is famous for its
Anonymity. Most of Hackers used Tor Browser to remain anonymous on Internet
- Download Tor Browser (either 32bit or
64 bit) depending upon your computer from its official site https://www.torproject.org/
If you have no idea whether your PC is 32bit or
64bit Right click on My computer(This PC) or you can check through control
panel→System
As you have seen above I have 64bit operating systema. Double click on tor-browser-linux64-6.0.8_en-US.tar.xz you have downloaded and extract the file to Desktop (you can extract anywhere but I prefer Desktop).b. Now you will have new directory as shown in the image

c. If you click tor browser setup file you will be presented with the following error message. So we need to make some changes to bypass this error.
d. Now we need to change the permission of the directory with following command
Now change the directory to Desktop→tor-browser_en-US→Browser as shown in the image
e. Now open start-tor-browser with any text editor I am using leafpad as shown in the image
After that you will see the image as shown below
f. Type root on search box and comment (means put #) the four line shown with red mark as shown in the above image and save it if ask overwrite overwrite it
g. Now move tor-browser folder from desktop to etc folder
h. Now we have to install main menu so Install alacarte from terminal with the command root@kali:~# apt-get install alacarte
i. Now click on show applications at bottom corner on left side and type main menu on search box then click main menu then you will see as shown in the image
j. click on new item and click on Browse→computer→etc→tor-browser_en-US→Browser→start-tor-browser
k. In name box type Tor Browser and click on left side to change icon click computer→etc→tor-browser_en-US→Browser→browser→chrome→icons→default→than choose default48.pngIf you find this helpful like us on Facebook and subscribed our YouTube channel
